A Series Of Untried Nail Arts: 7 – Splatter Nails

Hello 🙂
Sorry it’s a day late, I’m just settling back into my uni routine.. I know it seems late but I’ve only just started lectures! So today I have the next Untried for you – Splatter Nails

Barry M Plum

I used of base of Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine in Plum – the first of the Gellies! After applying a top coat I began to splatter…

Splatter Nails

To do this I used a straw and dipped it into the polish I wanted to use, in this case Barry M Prickly Pear and Sugar Apple, and blew the nail polish onto my nails. Once dry, apply topcoat again 🙂 It’s so easy.. but not so easy to control! I like some of my nails more than others but I feel that the carefree design is all part of the fun 🙂

1. Saran Wrap
2. Ombré Nails
3. Water Marble
4. Stamping
5. Feathers
6. Foils

7. Splatter Nails
8. Galaxy Nails
9. Nail Vinyls
10. Caviar
11. Dry Brush
12. ‘Drip’ nails (I’ll try and explain this one when I get to it!)
13. Dry Marbling

I’ll be posting a couple more times this week (hopefully, if all goes to plan!) so stay tuned 🙂
