Hello
If you’re wondering why I’m doing 6 days today, it’s because one of the days was a polish and another a loose glitter…
First of all I want to apologise for the lighting.. I’ve gone back home for Christmas now and I didn’t bring my lamp! 😦 I’m trying my best to get decent photos without it but in winter that’s near impossible as the sun isn’t up for very long.
Day 9: Pillow Fight. An earthy purple colour. 2 coats + topcoat on index finger. This formula is okay, thought it was a bit thin on the first coat but after applying the second it became opaque and smoothed everything out.
Day 10: Speed Coat. I assumed this was a fast-dry top coat considering the name.. not very fast and it’s a bit thick and gloopy 😦 It’s applied to all but my ring finger.
Day 11: Jingle belle. A pink holographic glitter. Sprinkled over a clear base coat on my ring finger, no topcoat. Not much to say here.. it’s glittery? I’m not a huge fan of loose glitters; their messy and fiddly.
Day 12: Pepperminty. A lovely light mint green. 3 coats + topcoat on ring finger. Bit on the thin side! Took 3 coats to become fully opaque and streak free but it’s a gorgeous fresh colour.
Day 13: Ferris Wheel. A soft baby blue. 3 coats + topcoat – the base colour on my pinky. Again, much like Pepperminty, it’s a bit on the thin side but is pretty once built to full opaque-ness.
Day 14: Party Shoes. A glitter topper made of small gold and slightly larger green/pinky pearlescent hexes. 1 coat over Ferris Wheel on my pinky. I like this one, it’s a subtle glitter topper.
I like 4/6 – the topcoat isn’t anything special and I’m just not really a fan of loose glitters…
