Charming Tale Double Double, Toil and Trouble

Sunday Swatches: Charming Tale’s Double Double, Toil and Trouble Collection

Hey!

I’m excited to share these swatches with you! It’s the Charming Tale’s Double Double, Toil and Trouble Collection! It consists of 4 fantastic holos and 1 glitter topper with all swatches showing 2 coats plus topcoat. I’m going to say now that all the holos had perfect application and that you could probably get away with one coat. I found that adding a topcoat helped make them extra shiny. I used Cloak of Invisibility a peel of basecoat also from Charming Tale to make swatching easier for me – this is also available for grabs in my giveaway. But let’s get on with the swatches…

Charming Tale Double Double, Toil and Trouble

Charming Tale Eye of Newt

Eye of Newt is a gorgeous royal blue.Charming Tale Toe of Frog Charming Tale Toe of Frog

Toe of Frog is a true green midway between forest and bright green. I did have some problems with staining on this one, but only wear I accidentally got it on my skin, no staining where I had applied my basecoat so it’s all good. Charming Tale Blind Worms Sting Charming Tale Blind Worms Sting

Blind Worms Sting is a red/orange that I will definitely be wearing throughout autumn.
Charming Tale Wool of Bat Charming Tale Wool of Bat

Wool of Bat is an absolutely stunning deep purple that really makes the holo-y goodness pop. At first I thought it was black and it was’t until I actually swatched it that I realised it in fact wasn’t.

Charming Tale Lizards Legs Charming Tale Lizards Legs

Lizards Legs contains dark blue various sized glitters in a purple tinted base. It would take a lot of coats to become fully opaque but it is only meant to be a topper so I didn’t expect it to be anyway.

So there we have it! Happy Holo-ween guys!
