Hello
Today I have the 4 new Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine SS16 nail paints AND the Mani Masks that were recently released in Boots (although they have been in M&S for months!) Let’s start with the Gellies! and hurrah for them continuing with the food theme with them.
Pink Lemonade is a gorgeous soft dusty nude pink. The top photo shows the true colour much better. This is 2 coats. One thing I will say about these new Gellies is that they don’t seem as shiny as all the others, but maybe that’s just me?
Butterscotch Sauce is a beige cream colour that looks yummy, especially matte! 2 coats.
Cream Soda is a light cream that has an olive-y tone to it but that might just be against my skin tone, this applied surprisingly well in just 2 coats.
Acari Smoothie is a dusty mid pink with lilac? undertones and might be my second favourite after Pink Lemonade, again it looks amazing matte.. 2 coats.
Now we have the Mani Masks that are a nail treatment that help condition your nails and smooth them out, kind of like a foundation for your nails! They dry to a semi-matte finish but you can always add a topcoat if you prefer shiny nails but I like them as they are. Both are shown with 2 coats, and I really love what they do to my nails and because they’re so subtle it means I can wear these to work as nail polish helps my nails stay strong and not break but I’m not allowed painted nails – I can sneak these in though 😉
Bashful – a french mani pink.
Birthday Suit – a neutral beige nut, more of a natural finish.
So there we have it! The Gellies are now available in Boots, as are the Mani Masks.
