February 2016 Nail Box UK

February 2016 Nail Box

Hello

And as you can guess from the title I’m sharing this month’s Nail Box subscription with you! You can see my other reviews for previous months here but first check out this month which has a retro theme.

At first look I can see 3 things here which I wouldn’t use unfortunately.. BUT 2 of them look good, so that’s okay right? Also there are 4 polishes this month rather than 3 polishes and a treatment. But I am missing my nail tools! I like receiving those. The Eye Candy nail stickers just aren’t my thing, but cost just £1.49. Let’s start with my 2 favourite nail polishes and then I’ll show you the 2 I wouldn’t really wear.

Essie Flowerista

So the first polish I pulled out was an Essie polish in Flowerista, which is a gorgeous pink/purple plum shade that was a one coater! I loved this one and it normally retails at £7.99 in Boots.

Nicole by OPI Sky's The Limit

Sky’s The Limit from the Nicole by O.P.I range is a lovely denim blue shimmery polish, although it is pretty sheer and would probably work best over another colour – here is 3 coats and it’s still a little patchy. This is 15ml and you can buy this range in Superdrug for £7.99

Rimmel Wedge of Lime

Wedge of Lime by Rimmel is a colour I wouldn’t ordinarily use and I already have 1 lime green colour so I don’t really need 2 of a colour I don’t need much but it’s a nice enough polish. This is 2 coats and 8ml costs £2.99.

Eye Candy Juicylicious

Juicylicious by Eye Candy is another colour I won’t wear! Neon orange just isn’t for me – this picture doesn’t capture how neon this polish actually is.This is a 12ml product, I can’t find a price for this anywhere but I’m going to guesstimate £3? based on the price of their nail wraps. If anybody knows let me know! 3 coats are shown.

Total worth of this box = ~£23.46 which is great considering you pay £15 for this!  I have had better value boxes though…

Sadly, this is going to be my last Nailbox UK subscription for a while because I need to cut back on my spending big time. I’m moving in July and rent is a lot more than what it is now! Hopefully one day I will go back to subscribing as I love these boxes and after 6 months worth of them I have received some really great products that I will 100% use again and again.

  1. I love nail boxes, it’s great to see what’s included but I’d rather spend £15 on polishes I love or get a box that would def contain polishes I don’t have. Saying that I like all of these colours.
