I finally got round to swatching my newest purchase – the Makeup Revolution Flawless 2 palette. I’m also sharing the original Flawless palette too, even though mine is old and messy, I purchased one as a gift and I thought I’d photograph it in it’s full glory (and swatch from mine!). I love the packaging for these…
I love how warm this palette is and the colours mostly apply creamy and have good colour pay off – I think the only exceptions are Blue Stars and Green Stars which were a bit scratchy if I’m honest. The only issue I have with this palette is that there are only 5 matte shades, but that’s were Flawless 2 comes in…
With this palette there’s more of a mixture of shimmer, subtle shimmer and matte shades AND of warm and cool tones, although warm is still the dominant theme. I think the only shadow colours I had an issue with application with were Beat, Overcome and Unconditional – it always seems to be the darker ones. Another thing I love about Flawless 2 is there are a lot more lighter shades than the original Flawless, which I tend use to brighten the inner corner of my eyes, and a lot more darker matte colours for the crease.
Both of these are well worth buying though as you can pick them up for just £8 each – thats 25p per eyeshadow! You can get both of them on the Makeup Revolution site and Flawless from Superdrug. There are also 2 more ‘flawless’ palettes, Flawless Matte and Beyond Flawless, which I really want to try! Maybe I’ll buy them too in the future.
