Barry M have just released a new line of nail paints: Coconut Infusion. They have a blend of coconut oil and coconut water in to gently hydrate and nourishes the nails whilst having a smooth, shiny gel-like finish. The science: “Enriched with anti-oxidizing properties, the strengthening benefits of patented Hexanal and Vitamins B & C, nails will be repaired and replenished, resulting in a brighter, healthier looking, long lasting finish. Its exclusive High Reflective Resin System offers lustrous shine, fluid coverage and amazing depth of colour.”
Of course I went and bought the whole bloody collection BUT Superdrug have an amazing offer on – all 9 for £25! All swatches are 2 coats without topcoat, unless I say otherwise.
Laguna – a light lilac-leaning blue.
Sun kissed – a mid-toned tan/nude
Skinny Dip – a light (my) skin tone, 3 coats
Aloha – a bright bright pink!
Tiki Hut – a coffee coloured brown/nude
Flamingo – a peachy, orange (shows more orange in the photo), 3 coats
Starfish -I would say this is a ‘classic nude’ colour, 3 coats
Bikini – a bright teal leaning mint
Surfboard – a soft, lilacy-pink
I love that there are a mixture of nudes and brights in this collection. I’m also glad that Barry M are sticking to the flat, round brush which makes painting your nails SO much easier. All of these dried pretty quick too so they’re a great go-to when you’re in a rush, especially as they dry so shiny without topcoat.
Out of the 4 nudes Skinny Dip is my favourite and for the brights I’m leaning towards Laguna or Bikini!
You should definitely try these out if you’re a fan of Barry M. They’re on the higher end of their price range at £4.99 but the brand is usually on offer in both Boots and Superdrug.
