I broke my no-buy gloriously with these new releases from Barry M. They bought out two new types of nail paint this time – Molten Metals and Lolly Gloss. They have also released two exclusive limited editions for both Boots and Superdrug which I probably won’t pick up but we’ll see!
First up the Molten Metals – all swatched with 2 coats
Bronze Bae
Gold Digger
Silver Lining – I would describe this one more like pewter than silver but still pretty!
Copper Mine
All 4 of these shades have various speckles of colour of the same spectrum in them and almost create a glitter effect without the hassle! Just as easy to take off as standard nail polish.
And secondly the Lolly Gloss range – index finger 1 coat, middle finger 2 coats, ring finer 4 coats, pinky finger 1 coat over white.
Pink Candy
Purple Pop
Orange Fizz
Cherry Drop
These have a sheer jelly finish which can be built up alone with 2 to 3 coats or they can be worn over a white base for a very different look with more of a neon pop. They apparently have a Raspberry and Strawberry scent but I couldn’t smell it… I think these are meant to be similar to the O.P.I Sheer Tints or Color Paints in that they can be used for nail art and jelly sandwiches. I’ve never used nail polish like this before so I need to have a bit of a play but I wanted to share them with you as soon as I got them! Maybe you’ll see some nail art featuring these in the future.

Gorgeous swatches, I love all these polishes so much!

Thank you lovely! I’m probably more like to wear the molten metals on a regular basis but I can’t wait to have a play with the lolly glosses x

Gorgeous swatches of them all! I have 2 of each that I’ve not tried yet, but reading this post has made me excited to try!

[…] I’m sorry it’s been so long! Uni is taking up all my time at the moment… But I’m back this week with new additions to the Molten Metals range by Barry M, finally! I picked these up when they were released and I’ve been dying to share my swatches with you, I’ve been trying to get this post up for 3 weeks now. Did you know these were released a year after the original four in the collection!? See my post on those here… […]
