Primark PS Gel Effect Nail Polish Review

Primark PS… Gel Effect Nail Polish Review

At £1.50 each and in such gorgeous colours I couldn’t resist trying these PS…Gel Effect Nail Polishes from Primark. I’ve tried the standard polishes from them and had a bit of an issue with the cheap and chemically smell and the formula, so I wanted to see if these were the same…

Unfortunately there’s still the smell issue, I’ve had cheaper nail polishes that don’t smell as bad, but it’s bearable. However, I had no issues with the formulas, the grey applied with 2 coats and the blue and turquoise in 3 thin coats (sadly no names), all of which dried quickly and to a super shiny finish. At least they live up to their ‘Gel Effect’ name!

I love the bright, summery colours that this range comes in; I’ve also seen a bright pink in stores but I’m not sure if there are any more at the moment. I love the grey too!

  1. Love these polishes, I remember when I first saw them and the similarities with Nails Inc. I was pleased with the result & I even went back and picked up the grey. Love your swatches, the blue really suits you.
