I’m back! I’ve finally had the time and the energy to write a blog post. If you’re not sure what I’m talking about read my last post, it explains it all… Anyway, today I have some swatches of the ‘new’ 2016 Barry M Boots & Superdrug Limited Edition nail paints plus the Black Forest Gelly Hi-Shine and Quick Dry Topcoat. I actually purchased all of these when they were released, which I think was in September?, but I didn’t have the chance to post it, unfortunately, but now its time!
I am so in LOVE with this colour. It has a gorgeous bronze/copper shimmer and is perfect for autumn, especially tonight – Bonfire Night! I wish I was wearing this now… 2 coats, no topcoat.
Although this looks similar to the Molten Metals Silver Lining, it actually has it’s differences I would say that Snowflake has a lot more shimmer and I think it is slightly lighter? 2 coats, no topcoat.
How perfect is this rose gold? It’s just amazing. The prefect amount of shimmer too! I’ll definitely be wearing this a lot this season. 2 coats, no topcoat.
I didn’t think I’d be a fan of this one, but I bought it anyway because.. you know, got to collect them all… However, I actually really it like it, despite bright fuchsia pink not really being my colour. It has a silver shimmer to it, which is what I think I like about it. 1 coat, no topcoat.
Now we move on to the other polishes that were related at the same time.
The only Gelly they’ve released this season, but let’s face it… the collection needed a black! 2 coats, no topcoat.
Wet Set Quick Dry Topcoat
I didn’t try this over any nail polish at the time, I can’t remember why exactly, but from staying on my thumb you can see it has a high shine to it. It dried pretty swiftly as promised but since then I’ve worn it a couple of times over numerous nail polishes and I have to say it does have a tendency to peel. Does anyone else have this problem? Maybe it just doesn’t agree with me.
So there we have it, I finally got a blog post up! Maybe I’ll just have a few posts here and there until I’m back to normal!
