Princess Nail Lacquer Autumn Cremes Collection

Princess Nail Lacquer Autumn Cremes Swatches & Review

I’ve managed to get a load of swatches done, so hopefully I can schedule a couple more posts! Today I have the full Princess Nail Lacquer Autumn Cremes collection, which was released in 2 parts. PNL is my current indie brand obsession so look out for more swatches in the future…

I’ll go ahead and say now that all of these were one coaters, with just one exception! And the overall formula was brilliant. Let’s start with the original release, which cost me £15 for the mini set. The full size collection is £25, or you can purchase them iniviudlay for £6 each.

This is a gorgeous mid-dark grey and is a colour I will be wearing as we transition into winter.

I’m actually a big fan of brown nail polishes, I know some of you may not be, but isn’t this lovely? It does look like mud, but in a good way! with it’s red undertones it is perfect for autumn.

It’s A Bit Chilly Princess Nail Lacquer It's a bit chillyPrincess Nail Lacquer It's a bit chillyI don’t normally do green, but this is totally wearable for me. It reminds me of Christmas trees! and all other winter foliage – the evergreens. This is a 2 coater, but 2 thin coats at that.

As I mentioned in my guest post, over at Polished By Leanne, I love dark purples/aubergine colours for this time of year. This one was a little difficult to clean up, but I think all of the dark purples I own are. Plus, my cuticles are super dry so that doesn’t help! I definitely don’t blame the polish.

Autumn LeavesPrincess Nail Lacquer Autumn LeavesPrincess Nail Lacquer Autumn LeavesAgain, I’m not normally an orange fan but this one has an earthy element to it, which makes it more wearable for me. It reminds me of pumpkins, as well as autumn leaves! It maybe could have done with a second coat but you can definitely get away with just one.

Talking of autumn leaves.. let’s move on to the second part of the Autumn Cremes collection. This was released separately a bit later on as a trio and is based on the colour of particular tree leaves in autumn. It cost me £10 for the mini set, and it’s just £15 for the full sized set. These aren’t available as individual polishes, unlike the first part of the collection.

This is a lovely muted red, which reminds of a photo I took recently of the autumn leaves outside of my university.

And finally, we have this beautiful mustard yellow, that has a hint of green that makes it lean a little towards khaki? It definitely reminds me of autumn leaves.

Overall, I absolutely love this collection and if you haven’t heard of or used any polishes from Princess Nail Lacquers then I really recommend you take a look at Ashleigh’s website and buy yourself some. There are some stunning releases coming for Christmas!
