I finally got my hands on them, the new Barry M Frosted Cupcake Nail Paints! I’d been seeing press release pictures and swatches of these for a week or so now and I couldn’t wait to buy them. I waited a couple of days to see if they would go up on the Boots website, as I happened to have £17 worth of points but they have still yet to make an appearance since being released on Wednesday. I went in store to buy these and luckily my local one had a separate stand for them, they usually have a very small Barry M stand, and they were on offer too. I have to say the colours are great for transitioning into Spring from these cold Winter days, and they all share the same translucent white flakies in them to make them super pretty.
Strawberries and Cream

This is a gorgeous soft pink, that reminds me of strawberry milkshakes and spring blossom.
Marshmallows

A lovely vanilla nude, with a slight pink hint to it. I love this one mattified, it gives it a pearly finish. It did take an extra coat though.
Grey Earl

This beautiful silver-grey is stunning for this time of year and the frosty weather.
Blue Velvet

I’ve never tried blue velvet cake, or red velvet if I’m honest, but this is such a lovely pale blue colour. It’s a shame it was a little sheer and needed 3 coats. Also, my ring finger didn’t want to go matte!
Overall, this is such a lovely mini collection and perfect for this time of year. They have a good formula, build-able, and they have quite a smooth finish considering they contain so much flaky glitter!
They’re available to buy for £3.99 from Boots, Superdrug and Barry M online.

Thank you! I just use a mini light box that has a built in LED light strip PLUS a LED desk lamp. Both from amazon 🙂 x

Grey Earl and Blue Velvet are wintery perfection, oh my goodness! I love seeing a mainstream brand do an entire collection with flakies!
