I’m sorry it’s been so long! Uni is taking up all my time at the moment… But I’m back this week with new additions to the Molten Metals range by Barry M, finally! I picked these up when they were released and I’ve been dying to share my swatches with you, I’ve been trying to get this post up for 3 weeks now. Did you know these were released a year after the original four in the collection!? See my post on those here…
Gold RushSorry, the macro shot here doesn’t show the true colour but this is a gorgeous gold with a pink shift to it, very different to Gold Digger. 2 coats, no topcoat.
Blue Glacier I’ve been waiting for a metallic blue to arrive in the mainstream world.. and this one has a gorgous green/gold shift to it which gives it some depth. 2 coats, no topcoat.
Black DiamondNot my favourite of the collection, this is a black with silver glitter but it’s lovely and pigmented. 2 coats, no topcoat.
Holographic LightsHere’s the polish we’ve all been waiting for! A holographic polish, which I obviously had to capture outside – just look at that rainbow! 3 coats, no topcoat.
Pink IceI could not capture this colour in the macro shot at all and it really annoyed me but at least you can see the texture? Ha! Now, this colour is (in my opinion) identical to Twinkle Twinkle from the Superdrug Limited Edition Christmas collection (see below and here– my photographs don’t compare very well for the swatches but IRL they are very much the same). It’s not really worth having both but if you missed out on the LE and love rose gold Barry M have given you a second chance. 2 coats, no topcoat.
Glad I finally got these up for you! You can get these from Superdrug, Boots and the Barry M website. And I’ll be sharing some nail art using Pink Ice and some Born Pretty Store nail decals over on my instagram soon…
