The 2017 Summer Collection from Princess Nail Lacquer consists of 10 polishes – 5 creme and 5 holographic in coloured pairs of blue, teal, red, pink and purple. I picked up the blue and teal duos but desperately want the rest, they’re so beautiful…
Cool For The Summer
This is such a lovely bright teal colour! It actually photographed a little darker than IRL but I always have problems with teals and blues on my camera… On the wesbite it says to watch for staining with this one. I didn’t have any problems while swatching but I can see how it might be a problem if worn for longer. This is opaque in 2 coats.
Time For A DipHow gorgeous is this!? Time for a Dip has a teal jelly base with teal/green linear holographic glitters and flakies. The first picture is one coat over Cool For The Summer and the second and third are 2 coats alone.
I thought I’d do some summery nail art with these and ended up with some fun leafy nails! The base is Models Own White Light and I used the Born Pretty Store BP-L047 stamping plate (# 36305).
Storm CloudOnce again, this photographed a bit darker than it actually is, but this is a lovely ‘stormy’ blue. Opaque in 2 coats and has the same gorgeous formula that all Princess Nail Lacquer cremes have.
Another absolutely gorgeous polish. It has a blue jelly base with blue linear holographic glitters and holo flakies. I just love the finish of these holos and they’re opaque in only 2 coats.
Again, I wanted to create some nail art for this duo and decided to incorporate clouds! The white is again White Light by models own, and I used the Born Pretty Store Harunouta L040 stamping plate (# 39127) and some cloud nail vinyls from so long ago that I can’t remember where I got them…
I’m really loving these 2 duos and, like I said, I really want to purchase the other 3. You can buy them all on the Princess Nail Lacquer website – the whole set is £60, or duos for £13, individual cremes are £6 each and the holos are £7.
If you’d like to have a look at other collections I’ve swatched from PNL you can see them here.
