Primark metallics and holos

Primark Ps… Part 4: Holos and Metallics

It’s time for my final Primark post… for now! This time I have the Bronze Metallic Polishes 3 piece set and 2 of their stand alone polish, one in a holographic finish and one labelled as ‘nail gems’. I’ll start with the 3 pieces metallic nail polish set, 11ml each, which cost just £2,50! Bargain. Once again, they don’t have names so I kind of named them based on their colour. IMG_0218
BronzePrimark Ps.. Bronze polishThis bronze metallic is shown here with 2 coats bu ideally could have done with third just to fill in the gaps! It looks a lot more gold here than it actually is in real life.

BrassPrimark Ps.. Bronze polishThis again is 2 coats and has much better coverage and finish than Bronze. It has a lovely brass-y finish to it – hence the name I gave it!

Now I’ll show you the other 2 polishes, part of the Prism Collection that have an iridescent finish to them. These are both 10.5ml and cost £2 each.

Sherbet DipPrimark Ps... Nail Gems Sherbet DipThis is a strange polish… it has an iridescent silver base with silver hex glitters of various sizes. I think it might work better as a topper than on it’s on, which is shown here with 3 coats.

This might be my favourite of the lot (despite the fact it is NOT HOLO but iridescent) as it’s so versatile. It’s clearly meant as a topper and I can imagine how it varies over different colours. I’ve shown it here as 3 coats alone and then one coat over both black and white.

Once again, I’m impressed with these polishes, especially because they’re so cheap. If you live near a Primark and have yet to try their polishes it’s definitely worth checking them out! Don’t forget to take a look at all my other Primark Ps… posts this month (here)…
