Hello, I’m back! I know I put up a blog post a couple of weeks ago but now I’m back to blogging regularly after my 7-week hiatus! Today I have some Born Pretty Store items to show you and I’m quite impressed by these ones! I’ve got quite a haul to get through so I’ll just crack on…
I’m going to start with the cute (and very handy) Nail Brush Rack [# 41465 – green]. This little item costs just 99p and is actually really useful. The desk in my flat isn’t flat and so my brushes would always just roll around and fall on the floor! The rack makes sure they stay put and it means they’re all together so I can just grab the one I need next.
The next item I used back at the beginning of January during my daily nail art for a cute holo snowman design. The Holographic Snowflake Foil [# 41274 – #1] is also just 99p, for 100cm. It’s really easy to use – you can either apply nail foil glue and wait for it to clear and then stick the foil on or you can use a nail polish and wait for it to go tacky. I find nail foil is best!
The 79p (!) Floral Nail Stickers [# 41399 – #1] I received are so pretty and perfect for Spring but a little tricky to work with! I think they’d be best used with gel polish, with regular polish they had a tendency to curl up around the edges.
I’ve got a few stamping items to show you next. I decided to get a new stamper and chose this pretty double-ended Snowflake Stamper & Scraper set [# 41330], which is just £3.06 (a weird price because it’s converted from another currency!). I like that it has two different clear & squishy stampers, with one being larger than the other, but I did find that I had to remove the other end to be able to see where I was stamping. This isn’t really an issue but it’s an extra step in the process! Other than that minor problem, the stampers pick and stamp images really well and the little scraper does a good job.
The three stamping plates I got are all so different! The first is the BP-201 Graduation plate [# 41090], which I obviously picked up for when I graduate later this year. The second is the BP-188 New Years plate [# 41077], which unfortunately arrived just after new years but I can definitely use it for other events. The final plate is the BP-199 Geometric plate [# 41088]. I love this one and can see myself using it quite a bit. These all cost just £1.22 each and the images pick up well.
That’s all of the nail art items that were sent to me but Born Pretty Store also kindly sent me a phone case! I picked the Lemooc soft TPU Unique Leaves case [# 41373] for the iPhone 7 plus, which is perfect for Spring/Summer, and it fits perfectly. It doesn’t make my phone feel bulky and it covers all edges for all-round protection. For £1.53 you can’t go wrong… That was quite an intense post for my first one back! I hope you made it to the end… Do you have a favourite item from this haul? Leave a comment below!
