I know, I’m a couple of month behind on the Mani and Lola boxes… But at least I’m finally getting around to sharing the January box! The February box is to follow. The January box was all about fresh starts and had 4 nail polishes and 3 nail care items.
As I’ve said in my previous reviews, the Mani and Lola box comes very well packaged! The first couple of items are nail and hand care items, including the Skin Republic Had Repair Mask. I haven’t tried this because I’ve decided to include it in the giveaway I’m having soon! But it’s meant to do good things. The RRP is £5.50 and is available to purchase from quite a few shops/website, including Superdrug!Next up is the Mani and Lola nail file with 100/180 grit. I already have quite a few of these but it’s always good to have a backup. This has a value of just £2.95.The final nail/hand care is the Cuccio Milk & Honey Butter. This is a non-greasy cream that you can use on your hands, feet & body to moisturise!
Moving on to the nail polishes, we have the OPI Nail Envy in Samoan Sand (RRP £19.50 for 15ml). This is a nude version of the classic OPI Nail Envy. I didn’t really like this… I couldn’t get it to have a smooth finish.Next up is Shred It Up from Artistic, which has an RRP of £9.95 for 15ml. This is a fun & bright vivid purple! It does need a top coat to make it glossy though. My favourite of the 4 polishes is the China Glaze – New Year, New Boo (RRP £8.95 for 14ml). This is a gorgeous metallic navy blue. Plus, it only took 1 coat! The final polish in the January box is Butter London in Flusher Blusher, a bright fuschia pink (RRP £15 for 11ml). So I’ve actually only kept 1 nail polish and 2 other items from this box! I just wasn’t keen on the other colours… But for £20 a month (plus postage), if you like receiving surprise polishes, then this box is really worth the money. The total value of all the items included was £66.84!
Keep an eye out for next months box in a couple of days.
