Maggie Anne is a UK polish brand that is cruelty-free and vegan, as well as being 6-free. The polishes have a gel-like, glossy finish without needing a UV lamp. I’ve tried a couple of Maggie Anne polishes before (here and here), but not for a while and after contacting the brand about their blogger opportunities they kindly sent me a couple of their duochrome polishes to swatch!Read More »
I’ve spoken about Toxic Nailz before (here) but now there’s a monthly mystery box! It’s a themed box, open to pre-orders before the shipping date, and costs just £10 for 4 polishes and nail accessories to match. There’s actually already been a few boxes, that I missed out on, but I managed to get my hands on the March Mystery Unicorn Box – very happy with the theme! None of the polishes have names, but they’re all exclusive to the boxes and are 10ml each. So for £10, you’re getting a very good deal!Read More »
I have just a few of the regular Primark nail polishes to share with you today. I picked them up a month or so ago, but I popped into my local Primark today and they still had them. These polishes cost just 90p each for 10.5ml and all of them have a great formula, needing just 2 coats. I’ve swatched a tonne of Primark polishes before and you can find them all here.Read More »
As I’m sure you are aware by now, I am incredibly pale… and for years I’ve been searching for the palest affordable concealer that’s available in high-street (or affordable) stores, such as Boots, Superdrug, etc. So, continuing on from my previous post, where I failed to find a concealer pale enough for me, I have some more new releases that might actually be pale enough for me! The ratings given below are obviously based on my personal opinions and experiences with regards to my skin. Read More »
A while ago, CarbonCoco contacted me to ask if I wanted to try out their Ultimate Carbon Kit. I was excited to be offered this opportunity, as I’ve got weak enamel but I really wanted to whiten my teeth! I struggle to find anything that works without damaging them. Carbon Coco sounds like the perfect thing to try, as according to them, their products “naturally whitens teeth, polishes teeth, strengthens enamel and detoxifies your mouth without any chemicals and added nasties“. Added bonus – all their products are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free!
