Welcome to my first non-beauty related post (although there is some nail art towards the end…). I’m finally plucking up the courage to incorporate other aspects of my life on this blog this year and my first step is a review of Papergang; a stationery subscription service by OhhDeer.
Every month you receive exclusive stationery and desk accessories designed in collaboration with different artists. It’s a UK based independent company that focuses on sustainability. All the packaging is recyclable and for every box sold 1 tree will be planted in association with the charity. You can find out more about their partnership with TreeAid here. I really appreciate this as we need to become more sustainable and treat this planet better if we want somewhere to live in the future. I’ve made a lot of changes to my life to do my bit.
The subscription costs £10.95 with £2.95 postage, or you can prepay for 3, 6 or 12 months. With the montlhy subscription you can cancel whenever you like or skip a month. This months Papergang box is no. 35 (my third box), and has a theme all about Our Natural Earth…
I absolutely loved the design of this box and the contents! The overall value is £36.75:
- A4ish lined notebook: £4.95
- A6 Notepad: £3.95
- 2 x A4 Riso Art Prints: £17.90
- Brass Paper Scissors: £9.95
There’s also a sustainable living chart on the back of the packaging to cut out and gives advice on tackling plastic, carbon & deforestation and a conscious shopping list.
I love the theme of this box and all the products are beautiful, including the brass scissors which cut wonderfully. The design inspired me to create some nail art which is where this blog post idea came from!
I used Barry M In A Flash as the base colour and stamped the floral/leaf design over the top with the Born Pretty Store stamping polish #14 and the Lina LSP-4SAU01 stamping plate.
If you’re a big lover of stationery I definitely recommend giving this subscription a go! You can sign up here.
I hope you liked this new post, let me know how you feel about it in the comments.

[…] I absolutely love the “There is no planet B’ artwork. It’s hanging on my wall, along with my ‘conscious shopping list’ from January’s box. […]
