March 2019 Papergang Review

*THIS POST CONTAINS AFFILIATE LINKS*

It’s Papergang time! I’m actually behind on these so there will probably be 3(!!) of these posts this month… oops!

Here’s a reminder of how Papergang works: Every month you receive exclusive stationery and desk accessories designed in collaboration with different artists. It’s run by a UK based independent company, Ohh Deer, that focuses on sustainability. All the packaging is recyclable and for every 4 boxes sold 1 tree will be planted in association with the charity TreeAid. You can find out more about their partnership here. This is something I value; we need to become more sustainable and treat this planet better if we want somewhere to live in the future.

Blogmas Day 24: 2017 Essie Advent Calendar Overview

It’s Christmas Eve and time for advent to end. I’ve been sharing the contents of the Essie Advent Calendar over on my Instagram stories every day during advent, but I thought I would do a more detailed review of it here! Obviously, this is no longer in stock, but I picked this up for £40 (RRP £50) in Superdrug, and annoyingly it was on sale for something ridiculous like £5 a couple of days ago! The price point is incredible regardless because, as you’ll see, you receive 7 full-size polishes including one fo the new Gel Couture shades, 13 minis and 4 nail care items. The full-size polishes alone come to a total of £60.89, so you’re definitely getting your monies worth! I’m going to keep this post relatively brief from now on as I have 24 items to get through…

The candles featured in these photos are from the Wilko Candle Advent Calendar which was just £8, and I much preferred it to the Yankee Candle one I had last year – I hope they do one next Christmas too!

Blogmas Day 23: December Mani & Lola subscription box

It’s Christmas Eve Eve! And today I’m sharing Mani & Lola with you, a brand new UK monthly nail subscription box! Unlike Meebox (who I have reviewed many of times (here)!), this box focuses on nail care, including polishes, rather than nail art. So, if you like the idea of surprise nail items turning up every month but don’t care for nail art then this is the box for you! Prices start at £14 (+P&P) for 12 months up front or you can do a monthly rolling subscription for £20 a month (+P&P) meaning you can cancel at any time. I use the latter! This is actually their second month, I sadly missed out on their first (I would love to get my hands on it!), and I am not disappointed by these Holiday Glam goodies! The total RRP of this box is a whopping £65.74! Let’s take a look at the contents…

Blogmas Day 22: December Meebox

The last MeeBox of the year and it’s a good one! The theme this month is Holo Wonderland and I wasn’t disappointed – it even includes an exclusive Prism Polish shade which I’m really excited about! The total RRP comes to £42.50 including postage, so you’re getting a great deal here, as the subscription is £20 a month. You’re getting so much for your money…Read More »
